Campsite De Boekel

In Akersloot, a small village located in the northwest of the Netherlands, lies our cozy family campsite for young and old. Next to the campsite flows the ‘Noord-Hollands’ canal, a hand-dug canal connecting the entire province. The canal has a lot to offer, sailing, fishing or canoeing. The canal is connected to the beautiful ‘Alkmaardermeer’ (Lake of Alkmaar), on which it’s it is possible to sail, surf and swim. Tired of all the water? Go to Alkmaar, a beautiful historic city which hosts the famous cheese market. The beach of Egmond aan Zee is also worth a visit. Don’t want to take long trips? there is plenty to do in and around the campsite! For example, try one of the beautiful cycling routes like the ‘Pondjesroute’. Sanitary

At the campsite you find a modern heated sanitary building, with an invalidated room die This room is suitable for wheelchair holders. Also there is a bad for babies. In the room is also a washing machine and a dryer. Behind the sanitary building is a beautiful recreation room.

Fishing

Before the campsite is the North-Holland channel. Here you can fish, but also the wide speed about the campsite is suitable to fish.

Canoeing

Since the campsite it is possible to rent canoes. You can explore the beautiful nature area “De Limmerdie” a fantastic area for the real nature lovers.

Cycling

On the campsite it is possible to rent bikes. North-Holland is a beautiful area to cycle. There routes like as the ferries route, the dune and beach shore route and the drought route.
